Clinical Experience
SMV is having 1000 bedded government hospital which helps our students to acquire excellent clinical experience in ICU, CCU, medical and surgical wards, causality, OT, CSSD, and NICU etc. Apart from that hospital our institution is affiliated to many hospitals to provide different clinical experiences to our student’s requirements to respective courses.
Hostel Facilities
SMV offers hostel facilities to our students, separate hostels for boys and girls with qualified warden and security around the clock. Our hostels ensure to provide a safe, secure and clean environment for the student to stay, to grow and to become a responsible citizen of the society Hostellers are provided hygienic, tasty and healthy food. There are clearly defined codes of conduct in our hostel, violation of the same lead to disciplinary actions.
Labs & Library
SMV have well-equipped laboratories which offers best learning facilities to provide technical skills through practical demonstration before the students get clinical practice on patients. Community Health Nursing Lab. Nutrition Lab, Child Health Lab, OBG Lab, Medical Surgical Lab, Nursing Foundation Lab. Libraries are considered to be heart of an educational institute. Our institution a well-equipped library with qualified librarian, our library has more than 2500 different subjects titled nursing books in multiple editions, many kinds of journals, HELINETS, Magazines, news-papers and health related literature etc.
Transportation
SMV possess bus with 60 seats. Bus is used for the students and teaching staffs to commute to parent hospital, affiliated hospitals, field visit and community centers.health related literature etc.
